This free 2 session “Family Caregiver Series” is for family members or friends who are impacted by dementia.  This series helps family caregivers to understand Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias; learn strategies for managing changing communication and behaviors; and information for future planning.

This free 2 hour workshop “Disability Tax Credit Information Sessions” is for people diagnosed with dementia and their family members.  Guest speaker, Ella Huang, Executive Director, Richmond Centre for Disability, will provide an overview of eligibility and benefits of the federal Disability Tax Credit.

Are you concerned about the safety of your family member – both inside and outside of the home ?This workshop discusses potential safety hazards and offers tips and strategies for maintaining a safe environment.  Family caregivers will also learn about wandering behavior, how to prevent it, and important steps to take if the person does become lost
