Throughout the summer we tend to like to get away and go on a few vacations. Spending time with your family and getting a break from work are things we all deserve. Many people like to lay by the pool and read a book or stay out late and sleep in the next morning. There is just one thing stopping parents from doing so… Their children. Although its summer kids still wake up early and want to go out and do something for the day. For some families, the solution to this problems is bringing a nanny along for the trip. Having a nanny with you on your vacation allows for a stretch of time each day where parents can do what you want without having to constantly entertain their children. The nanny could babysit in the evening, take the kids to the pool or even accompany your family on day trip to help out. When choosing to bring a nanny with you, there are a few things you need to consider: Will the nanny be taking your children on day trips by herself, and if so how will they be getting around? Will your nanny have a separate room or will they stay with your children? You will be paying for all your nanny’s food and accommodations while on the vacation which is very important to keep in mind as you will be paying for a whole other person. Communication is key while bringing a nanny on vacation. Be clear from the beginning about the plan and most importantly, have a great vacation!
